We're currently looking for an HR/Recruiter to help us grow our talented team and support our people-first culture.
Position Overview
As an HR/Recruiter at Millan Enterprises, you'll take the lead on sourcing and building a talent pipeline for a diverse range of roles across our growing company. This role blends relationship-building, strategic outreach, and recruiting expertise. We’re looking for someone with staffing agency experience, sales acumen, highly enthusiastic, and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities. This position will be heavily involved in standing up a new division within Millan Enterprises.
What You’ll Do
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for a variety of roles.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and hiring strategies.
- Draft and post job ads across platforms and networks.
- Attend job fairs and community events to promote Millan’s brand.
- Track applicants and keep recruitment records organized using our ATS.
- Support onboarding coordination and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular hiring reports.
What We’re Looking For
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (strongly preferred)
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or related fields
- Staffing firm experience is a big plus
- Background in sales or client-facing roles is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Technologically savvy (must be competent in Microsoft Office products as well as G-Suite)
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with ATS systems and platforms like LinkedIn
- Sales-minded approach to recruiting with persuasive communication skills
- Working knowledge of:
- Recruitment and selection best practices
- Compensation structures
- FMLA, FLSA, and employment law compliance
- Organizational development
- Employee training and development
- HR policies and procedures
