REAL ESTATE CLOSING PROCESSOR
Salary: $38,480.00 - $60,320.00 annually, based on qualifications
This opportunity is for a local law firm in the Clarksville, TN area. The firm is looking for a full-time real estate closing processor with proven experience
required. Candidates must be proficient in RESPA, Closing Disclosures and all closing
guidelines. Must be able to handle files from contract to closing. Knowledge of real estate
closing software, SoftPro, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel). Must be detail oriented,
able to multi-task, have excellent organizational and communications skills. The successful
candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This person must
thrive in a fast-paced, often stressful environment, and must be able to think and work
independently.
Duties include:
Complying with regulatory requirements by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to requirements.
Preparing and reviewing documents (taxes, payoffs & other title issues) required for closings.
Calculating recording fees, tax prorations, and interest
Preparing closing disclosures and settlement statements utilizing lender instructions.
Drafting closing documents
Coordinating closings with all parties including lenders and real estate agents.
Recording and filing documents
Distributing final closing statements and title policies

Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and financial background check
without any previous history of bankruptcy.

This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk) with working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
